We love watches! For as long as I can remember, I have loved watches! My wife thinks I'm crazy owning over, well, now over 40 different watches! Seiko, Citizen, Pulsar, Seiko's cousin, Jazz from the 80's, vintage Hamilton's, Bulova's, Guess, Movado, Rado, Avon, Tag, Timex, and one from the Crawford Watch Company! Among others.
I love the newer Citizen Eco-Drives that are powered by the sun! The are classy looking as well as being on the cutting edge!
Seiko has their Kinetic watches which are very cool, heavier than others, but very cool! Pulsar has their Flight Computer Watch which is an amazing device! It can tell you everything! Tag is, well, Tag!
And what about Vacheron Constantin or Patek Philippe! These watches are only for the distinguished among us and those who can afford such an amazing work of art!
My vintage Hamilton's are automatic and I love these! They are classy and never go out of style!!
The one watch I hold dear, is a watch I obtained from Charlie of Charlie's watch repair in Oakhurst, which was closed awhile ago. He was the best at watch repair and the best at customer service! He could tell I took an interest in this curved, real gold watch, allowed me to place a new band, which was from vintage stock(which I wish I had now!) and then allowed me to purchase it for an amazing price! I even asked if he was sure of it due to the price being, well so low! It was from the Crawford watch company, my last name! I love it!!!! It will be passed down! Charlie was a good man, and I was blesssed to have known him for the short time I did. I only wish I could tell him this, or even let his family know that his life touched mine and I enjoyed going in and just chatting! Thanks Charlie.
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36MM Datejust is one of the most beautiful Rolex watches on the market today! We were blessed enough to view the new releases at Hesselbein's in the Crossroads located in Carmel, CA during my 40th, yes 40th birthday celebration at Monterey! The leather band on this watch is just beautiful and I almost walked out with it! But was stop just short of the door by my beautiful wife Victoria! She had of course already bought and wrapped my present along with arranging a most exciting and not expected party at the Beach Hotel!
